About Our Business
Highpoint Consulting Partners was founded on the simple premise that
small and medium sized businesses need the same level of guidance,
attention, and strategic planning that larger companies have.
We partner with our clients to ensure that they can focus on growing their
business, not constantly managing the technology of the business.
Our Leadership
Founded by executive level technology consultant, Scott Fraser, Highpoint
Consulting Partners has helped many companies realize their IT goals
by providing sound, technical and economic advice. A turn-around
specialist, Fraser has the unique ability to look at an organization from
outside the box and determine what needs to be accomplished in order
to make them successful.
Prior to founding Highpoint Consulting Partners, Fraser was the Deputy
CTO and Vice President of Global Technical Operations and Engineering
for Discovery.com. Responsible for building and maintaining the
technical architecture for all integrated Discovery web sites, Fraser
focused on workable IT solutions for a multi-faceted Web company
working and evolving at Internet speed.
Prior to joining Discovery.com, Fraser was Director of Client Services
Digex, Inc. Fraser created and managed a 24 X 7 technical operations
support center that provided first tier technical support to server hosting
clients, including Nike, Forbes, Hallmark and Ford Motors. In addition,
he initiated programs that increased revenue and customer retention
rates. Previously, Fraser founded and managed business operations for
Planet Internet, a Internet Service Provide business that he later sold.
Fraser began his career in the U.S. Air Force, serving his country for 13
years while attaining positions of progressively increasing responsibility
in the areas of project management, telecommunications planning,
network and desktop architecture and management, systems
integration and customer care.
Fraser served as an elected member of Collective Technology's
"Collective Advisory Partners" Board of Directors. He has been quoted in
industry journals including: The Industry Standard, Internet Week and PC
Week, and been a speaker/participant at various industry conferences
and symposiums. Fraser holds a BSBA in International Management
and MIS from Columbia College, is a certified Project Management
Professional and resides in Atlanta, GA.
